It is a winter wonderland here in Portland this evening.
Yesturday we enjoyed a hike in the sun, today snowmen.

I tried my hand at some face painting. Elijah's Spiderman turned out great. EXCEPT, WARNING:

Now he has a big rash on his face.

Outside the Papa Murphy's pizza place for our annual Pumkin Pizza (shaped like one). We did a little trick or treating around town then to see our neighbors. We then took a drive to see some friends who LOVE supporting halloween treats.

Carving Pumpkins

Ok Molly, yes this blog thing is backwards so this first picture is the last thing we did with the pumpkins....it was Josiah's idea to roast marshmellows inside them over the candle. Go Josiah!

Before we did that we took a picture of them glowing in the dark, all done.

Before that we gutted and carved. Mostly Daddy and the boys. Though I did some gutting b/c Elijah thought it was too yucky.

This is Chad's saw we are using...regular knives apparently aren't good enough...true enough.
