The boys found a DVD on knitting at the library. It is taught by a 7 yo boy. Anyway they really wanted to try it. But what they really wanted to make at first was guns and rockets! Did you know knitting originated with sailors fixing rope and sails?
This is a soccer class that L and E took. First class J was too old for. He took an archery class instead, which he LOVED.

ReplyDeleteAt this point they are making blankets(for stuffed animals) or scarves...probably whichever comes first. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's cool! Kaleb wanted to last year so i got him a book on it (crocheting) but it was too frusterating for me to explain it to him...he just ended up making a little scarf for one of Selah's bears for Christmas:). maybe a Dvd explains better. Anyway, good job!
